# Database Access
The database is currently on hold while I'm working on getting a dedicated server setup to move away from Azure - Azure's firewall rule limit is extremely limiting, as well as having other issues. I expect this to be complete by the end of April 2019 - please follow on [Patreon](https://www.patreon.com/altiumlibrary/) for the latest updates.
Existing users can still access the database, however, once the dedicated server is online and functional the Azure connection will be permanently closed - I can't afford to pay for both!
We had an issue with the database server, and are currently rebuilding the database - it will be finished by the end of November. Check in with the community on [Discord](https://discord.gg/MEQ5Xe5) for the latest, or just to say hi!
