Linus Torvalds 6394c851fd README: describe the board that exists ...

The hardware section described the modular design: an MCU daughtercard
and a codec daughtercard, an audio-jacks board, a pedal-board for the IO,
and a 12P FFC between the two halves.  None of that is what gets built
now.  It is one board with the RP2354A and the TAC5242 on it, and the
cable and the BM28 connectors are gone with the carrier boards.

It also has hardware the older boards had no room for, and the expression
jack is the interesting case: it wants two ADC pins, and those are the
pins the old MCU board spent on hardware MIDI, so it could not have been
retrofitted there.  Said plainly that it is still only a probe - the
firmware reads it when the host asks over SysEx and nothing acts on the
result - because a jack on a photograph looks like a feature.

Kept the modular description rather than deleting it, as "How it used to
be", and gave it the reason it never had: laying the two halves out
independently, and fitting a 125B with the jacks, rotaries and the screen
in one top area.  The BM28 opinion stays because it is still true, and
those boards still build.

The advice that used to end the section - that if you know what you want
you should put the codec on the audio jack board and the MCU on the IO
board - turned out to be the specification for this one.

The images went the same way.  front.jpg and inside.jpg are the
screen-and-rotaries build from two generations ago; they are replaced by
a photograph of the bare unified board, and deleted, since the history
has them if anyone wants to see what it used to look like.
