I realize that there is no way to turn off the badge without taking out the battery.

Seems like a small smd switch would help here

@AllspiceUser I have limited my search to SPST slide switches however digikey.ca only has two rather bulky options. Should I just use a SPDT as a SPST switch? Part search seems to be where I am struggling the most
