JST BM09B-SRSS-TB.STEP

  • Plastic color recommended to be more Yellowish.
  • Leads should be Tin colored.
  • plastic edges should be rounded with fillets.
  • origin point should be on the lowest point of the model, on the bottom leads surface, as the model will set on it in Altium's footprint, other wise the model will collides with the PCB and force you to move it manually in Altium Interface which is not handy.
  • rotate the model 90 CW around X-Axis so that Z-axis is facing upward.
    Image of rotation
  • it is better to name the model like this JST - BM09B-SRSS-TB.STEP, instead of that JST BM09B-SRSS-TB.STEP

PCB - CONNECTOR - JST - JST BM09B-SRSS-TB.PCBLIB

  • Mechanical 15 line width is 0.05mm not 0.2mm. the + mark on the origin could be 0.1mm line width, but the contour must be 0.05mm width.

  • Top overlay (Silkscreen) should draw out the plastic body of the component, not the leads. See image >>
    Untitled

  • Mechanical 13 is used that way to line out the component body, with line width of 0.1mm. we also add a circle in the same layer on pin1 to specialize it, but it is not required here as it is connector.

  • Height is 4.25mm not 2.95mm
