JustStan a9f4355224 Standardize repo: .gitignore, README, license, remove production from tracking 
- Standardize .gitignore to match ecosystem template
- Update README: simplify license section, remove stale status checklist
- Replace LICENSE stub with full CERN-OHL-S-2.0 text
- Remove production/ from git tracking (generated, re-exportable)
- Add previously untracked licensing/ directory
- Delete empty nextpcb/ directory

Third-Party Assets

This repository's main hardware design is licensed under CERN-OHL-S-2.0, but some bundled assets may retain their own upstream notices or licenses.

Known third-party-licensed assets observed in the current repo state:

  • 4in1ESC-30x30.3dshapes/IND-SMD_L1.6-W0.8_FTC160865SR47MBCA.step
    • contains an embedded CC-BY-SA 4.0 notice and KiCad exception text in the file header
  • 4in1ESC-30x30.3dshapes/QFN-28_L4.0-W4.0-P0.40-TL-EP2.4.step
    • contains an embedded GNU General Public License notice in the file header

Practical rule:

  • embedded upstream notices in individual third-party files remain relevant for those files
  • the repository-level hardware license does not erase or replace those upstream notices

If more third-party library assets are intentionally bundled later, document them here.
